A Deep Dive into our rebranding process
At Honey Creative, we believe that branding is more than just aesthetics—it’s about creating a strategic foundation that reflects your mission, resonates with your audience, and sets you apart in your industry. Our process is collaborative, intentional, and, dare we say, fun.
Here’s how we bring brands to life:
1. Research
We start by getting to know you and your audience. Through custom surveys, questionnaires, and conversations, we uncover what’s working, what’s missing, and what makes your brand unique. At the start of our work, we send out a communication style questionnaire that lets us know exactly how you give feedback. Prefer Zoom meetings to review? Want time over email to digest? Great! We work with our clients, not for them.
Before we even touch a single design program, we take the time to learn about your audience and community. Together, we craft a Perception Survey that is specific to your brand, the goals you’re wanting to achieve through the rebrand, and insights that would be key to positioning your rebrand.
2. Strategize
In our Strategy Workshop Session, we define your mission, vision, values, audience, and messaging. This step is the heart of everything that follows, ensuring that your brand is built on a solid foundation.
We’ll review the Perception Survey submissions and highlight key findings that will inform your messaging, design, and strategy moving forward. This conversation is to brainstorm together. No long Q&As or endless onboarding paperwork. We do the heavy lifting of listening and getting to know who you are and where you want to go.
For websites, we also host a Site Strategy Session where we’ll take a deep dive into how each of your target audiences will navigate the website. This will help us to understand the calls to action we want them to take. We also submit a Site Map to our SEO strategist for review at this stage to ensure we’re taking FULL advantage of all of Google’s gadgets at the onset before jumping into copywriting.
3. Visualize
Initially, we create two unique moodboards to explore potential directions for your brand’s look and feel. Now, this isn’t just any ol’ moodboard. It’s strategic, historically inspired, and relevant. We’re not looking just at how to position you right now, we reflect on your industry and draw inspiration from art history, pop culture, key events in time, and how it could inform your rebrand.
We adhere to color accessibility standards to ensure the highest visibility and avoid hiccups with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).
This step aligns your visual identity with your brand personality and sets the tone for everything from logos to layouts.

4. Design
Now we build it. For branding, we craft a complete identity—logo, colors, typography, iconography, and more—presented through our one-concept method. This essentially means we present our best and brightest idea in one fully thought-out identity. This includes mockups to show exactly how your unique asset library will come together.
For websites, we design custom mockups and page layouts, paired with SEO-reviewed copy and thoughtful user flow.

5. Develop
Once designs are approved, we bring them to life. Your website is built with performance, accessibility, and responsive design in mind.
This is also where we create your brand collateral, social assets, and prep your guidelines. We send off a brand one-sheeter that acts as a quick summary for easy reference in addition to a long-form brand guide that includes the strategy work and visuals we’ve worked on during the project.

6. Launch + Jazzercise
Or whatever you do to celebrate because it’s time to go live! We wrap everything up with organized file delivery, a detailed brand guide, and website training (if needed). You’ll walk away with clarity, confidence, and everything you need to show up strong.
We provide a Rollout Guide that details suggestions on what to change your social media bio to and includes a blog post announcement complete with graphics to share with the world on your brand!
We mean serious business with our file organization!
